Microwave turns on but doesn’t heat and the light and turn table don’t work. If I grab one of the connectors on the pcb board while the microwave is on and flex it some, the turn table and inside light come on. Is this a faulty board?
For model number Lmv1764st
Hi Kevin, thank you for reaching out. Yes, based on your description, the issue is very likely a faulty main control board, part number PS16223605, specifically a problem with the connection at that particular connector. The control board acts as the microwave's "brain," receiving user input from the keypad and sending electrical signals to components like the magnetron (for heating), the fan, and the turntable motor to execute the selected cooking program. You may need to replace the control board to fix the issue. We hope this helps.

My microwave fan will not turn off. I can make it faster or slower, but it will not stop. Is there a part to replace to fix this?
For model number LMV1764ST
Hi Jim, thank you for the question. Based on our understanding, the issue could be with the main PCB assembly, part number PS16223605. A relay on the board can get stuck in the closed position, keeping power flowing to the fan even when you press off. We hope this sorts out your problem!

The major plastic frame was broken at the screw hole support. I was sent the wrong part and found out the part I needed was no longer made and would have to buy a new door for $150.
The wrong part was under $20. When I found out I had to replace the whole door for $150. I decided DYI was the way to go. I used JB weld and the door looks and works like a charm. Give plenty of time to cure all water needs to be cured out if exposed to microwaves. No problems so far.
