Had to pop open the back. The back did not just unscrew and come off. It has to be pried off carefully. Took the turbo off and put the new one on. read more

Problem: The display was showing a CH01 error code and the bucket full light was blinking. Research: 1) It could be a bad thermistor. 2) The error code indicates an electronic abnormality.

Action:
1. Remove the back cover from the dehumidifier. The tricky part will be the two hidden clips located under the top edge.
2. Remove the front cover. The front cover is constrained by the wire leading to the thermistor. The thermistor is located to the left of the cooling fins inside a copper tube. I used a small screw driver to push ... read more
