Part #W10915369
This grease filter is designed for use in range hoods. It is sourced directly from the equipment manufacturer and has dimensions of approximately 7 1/2 inches wide, 8 3/4 inches in height, and 1/2 inches in depth. The filter is responsible for trapping grease, smoke, and other odors created during cooking, and preventing them from circulating back into the kitchen. It has an aluminum mesh layer which primarily captures grease particles, and a charcoal layer, also known as a carbon filter, which primarily absorbs and reduces odors and smoke particles. Carefully lift out the old filter from the range hood and dispose of it. Align the new filter in its compartment and secure it in place with the appropriate fasteners.

Part #W10272068
Charcoal filters are used within range hood assemblies to reduce or eliminate unpleasant odors by capturing any contaminants from cooking fumes, to improve air quality, and reduce smoke when cooking. This charcoal filter set includes 2 charcoal filters that are installed within the range hood assembly, near the fan. It is recommended that you change these filters every few months, so consider that when ordering your filters. These filters are approximately 8 inches in diameter and feature 2 notches on each side to easily remove and install. To replace these filters, gain access within your range hood and twist the existing filters and pull them off to remove them. SWITCH CONTROL UNIT HAD BROKEN OFF FROM ONE END OF ITS INTERIOR MOUNTING

Removed and cleaned to overhead grease trap filters which required a sink full of detergent some wire wool pads and and much elbow grease. This is probably a service task that should be performed at least annually for hoods in frequent use. And be careful not to cut your fingers on some of the sharp interior edges.

With the g rease filters removed it was then possible to access the switch unit from the inside of the hood. Used a small Phillips screwdriver to loosen and remove the two fastening screws and removed and replaces the whole unit.

Refitting was the reverse of the above process.

Amazing. PartSelect shipped me the wrong part and then wouldn't refund shipping cost to return it. They need to change their shipping policy as it now states they refund shipping if they were the cause of the mistake.
