Dishwasher fills for abut 2 minutes then starts washing. Dishes are clean in the bottom rack but not in the top. Is there a water depth measurement so I can first determine if it is a low water problem. If it has enough water then it must be some sort of restriction going to the top arm.
Thanks in advance

Hello James, thank you for your inquiry. The center wash arm circulates water to the dishes in the upper rack. If water can not flow properly through the center wash arm, the dishes in the upper rack will not be cleaned properly. Over time, food particles can get trapped in the tiny holes in the wash arm. If your dishes are coming out dirty, the wash arm might be clogged. To unclog the center wash arm, remove the wash arm and dislodge any debris from the holes. If the problem still persists, we recommend you replace the pump and motor assembly, part number PS3500990. We hope this information helps!
