My fridge started to emit an alarm sound intermittently. Every is normal in terms of temperature. One day, it stops completely. I did a reset and it started again. I heard the alarm a few times since then. Any idea what the faulty part could be?
Hello Réal, thank you for contacting us. If your refrigerator is functioning properly, and the alarm is still going on, you may perform a master alarm reset to turn it off. A master alarm reset can be performed by pressing the On/Off button twice, or by turning the power to the refrigerator off and on again. After performing a master alarm reset, the indicator light will reactivate if the condition that caused the alarm is still present. If the issue still occurs, the thermistor, part number PS11739132, might be malfunctioning and sending inaccurate readings to the control board. Checking the thermistor for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!
After a power outage, my refrigerator powered back up. The lights are on the fan is running, but it will not cool at all on either the freezer side or the refrigerator side. I assume that it was the surge the power coming back on that impacted this as it was running fine before. i’m trying to solution. I’m thinking compressor or the switch turns the compressor on. This is a KitchenAid 48 inch architect, series counter, depth side-by-side with on the door, water, and ice. The compressor board and all the electrical components are on the top of this unit. Anything they can do to help me pinpoint and resolve will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My fridge is making a clicking and beeping sound. It keeps turning the fan on top of the fridge on and off. It has been doing this for a couple months. It is now just starting to not cool off the fridge. Can you help me with what part to order. Not sure if its the mother board or the inverter

removed flap door in front of icemaker...removed 3 screws with bolt heads...removed one additional screw with bolt head and ice unit slid out. I removed motor unit (pops out no screws). Replaced and had ice within 3 hours.

First I shut the water off to the refrigerator.then i pushed the big button in the middle of the grille below the refrigerator door. pulled out the old filter, took the front cap off the old filter put it on the new filter. took the two red caps off the new filter. pushed the filter in till it locked in place. all done!
