Fridge only 2 years old. Freezer only cooling and ice maker not making any ice. Issue occured after numerous power outages. Troubleshooting showed everything ok except 3 way valve. Valve replaced and problem still exists. What can be the issue?

Ice maker not working. A common cause for a clog is frozen water in the line. Cause: There is also a possibility that the water filter # PS11722126 for the ice maker is clogged or an aftermarket one. Fix: Locate and replace the water filter. Filters for ice makers are typically located inside the refrigerator
Fridge too warm: The condenser fan circulates air through the condenser coil to remove heat. If the refrigerator is warmer than normal and the compressor is running almost continuously, then you may have a problem with the condenser fan motor. Fridge section works perfect. Water dispenses from ice/water dispenser. However freezer is not freezing (just cooling slightly) and no ice is making. I have already spent over $400 us on repairs and no fix. Although troubleshooting did not give a code for faulty main control board, technician advise to change it anyway. Would air filter or water filter cause this?? can you please advise what part needs to be checked and replaced. gasket, thermistor etc before spending a large sum on a main board and it's not the problem.

We do not see a bypass plug listed for your model and you may or may not need it. Some refrigerators have a built-in bypass when a water filter is not used. Freezer is making a loud noise. Not freezing well, and leaking from under the drawers. Ice build up in the back of the freezer around the coils. I have removed the back inside panel and found the frozen coils. Any Ideas on what part might need replacing?
Hello Jeremy, thank you for writing. The most common reason is an air leak or something that is allowing the unit to warm, causing the ice build up. Check that the door gaskets PS11731042 are in good condition. To defrost and clean, place a large pot of hot water in the bottom of the refrigerator to speed up the defrosting process. Clean the inside of the refrigerator/freezer with a clean cloth and a solution of liquid soap, baking soda and hot water. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Also, loud humming is often caused by the same dirty coils We hope this helps.

I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Purchased new motor from Partselect.com. When it arrived it came with a new rubber washer that fitted on top of new motor that was not on old motor, that how water got into old motor. However, the instruction sheet did not give info on how to access the proper way to the motor that is the door. Not wanting to damage the freezer door assy.
