There are lots of crumbs that I cannot get out of the toaster. These are crumbs that seem to be up around the shoulders of the toasters. Should I remove the screws and attempt to get the body off?

Hi Tracey, Thank you for your question. If you having difficulty removing some of the crumbs from your toaster oven, use a pastry brush or a paint brush with fine bristles to gently remove them from the interior. Start at the top and work your way down to the bottom of the toaster. We hope this helps!
