KFP670OB KitchenAid Food Processor - Overview

The old broken shaft sleeve did not want to come off. Had to cut it off with a Dremel. Once the old plastic shaft sleeve was off, the new shaft sleeve went on fairly easily. I believe that the shaft sleeve should be made out of aluminum rather than plastic. If that were the case it never would have broken the way the old one did.

I own a great old Kitchenaid food processor. The bowl cover was no longer keeping food in. When I ground cheese, it would spew all over the place if I did not hold the cover down (which i would occassionally forget to do). The repair was easy as there was no need to use tools. The shocking part was that my order was received on the day after I ordered it. The prompt shipping was totally unexpected and I was happy that it woreked out so quickly.
