Can't turn bowl to start motor. What is the problem?
For model number KFP600OB
Hi Geri, thank you for your question. You may have to check and make sure that your bowl is lined up correctly with the base. If it is then you may have to open up your appliance and check that all of the connections are secure. If they are not then you may just need to adjust them. Otherwise the parts to check for this issue would be your relay, your switch, and your capacitor. Be very careful when looking at your capacitor as they do hold an electrical charge and could shock you if not properly discharged before handling. Good luck with your repair.

I believe that the shaft sleeve should be made out of aluminum rather than plastic. If that were the case it never would have broken the way the old one did.

I was considering purchasing a new food processor, when someone suggested that I try parts select. I was easily able

The repair was easy as there was no need to use tools. The shocking part was that my order was received on the day after I ordered it. The prompt shipping was totally unexpected and I was happy that it woreked out so quickly.
