Water dispenser drips water constantly, not ice melting, only dispenser drips

Hello Ralph, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Spigot PartSelect Number PS12349586 first for wear or damage that would cause a drip. If the Spigot is good, you may have a defective Water Valve PartSelect Number PS11738654. The valve can become "stuck" open and allow water to flow through to the dispenser causing the drip. How do I diagnose my refrigerator it cools from time to time

Thank you for writing in. Our research has found, part number PS16744942, the Condensor Fan Motor is likely faulty and needs replacing. We have included a video to assis with this repair. We hope this helps.
Replaced ice maker - worked great for several months; quit making ice; unplugged/defrosted refrig., cleaned drain pan/drain tube & found slime ball in pan - started refrig, and unit made ice with no leaks for two months & then stopped making ice. Then, unexpectedly unit started making ice again but began leaking water from top ice compartment - shut water off. Not ready to drop upper ice compartment until I have better idea - i.e. solonoid valve/tubing/cycle t-stat ? Many thanks for suggestions.

Hello Tony, thank you for your question. It the flow has decreased, it may be an issue with foreign particles. You may need to replace the water filter. Also, check to see if your model is water bypass capable. If so you can perform a water time test. Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection.
