My GE stove top burner willnt me control the heat. Burner goes red hot and no control.

Hi Loretha, thank you for reaching out. If your burner goes red whenever it wants to and has no control then the issue is the burner switch that operates it and it will need to be replaced. The part number listed under your model number for the burner switch is PS236750. Good luck with your repair!
This was about the simplest fix I've ever done. Just pulled off the old surface elements & burner bowls, wiped down the range top, and put in the new parts. Perfect fit.
