First, I called my son over to do the repairs. He shut the power to the oven off at the breaker box, he then unplugged the oven from the wall outlet, just to be extra safe. Reconnected the pigtail to the outlet and turn the power back on at the breaker box. After watching my son do this repair I believe I could have done it and I'm 70 years old, well everything but move the oven out to unplug it from the wall outlet.
