The button that turns on washing machine is flashing, so it will lock but then unlocks so final spin isn’t very good. So I’m wondering if that needs to be replaced

Agitator operates approximately 10 seconds at beginning of wash cycle. Agitator comes on again at end of wash cycle for about 10 seconds, then goes into rinse cycle. All functions seem to be good, fill, spin, drain etc. Agitator functions during wash but only for a few seconds as mentioned. What could be the problem and do you have the replacement part? ?? Thanks

Hello Nick, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching your model, this can be caused by failing bearing on the gearcase transmission, or an issue with the shift actuator. Check for any excess wear on the gearcase bearings and you can test the shift actuator with a multimeter. Good luck with your repair.
