Freezer makes ice but flapper won’t open

Hello Virginia, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend replacing the harvest motor assembly, part number PS19083440. It uses a mechanical "harvest assist" rod that physically pushes the ice off the plate. If this motor is burned out or the rod is stuck, the ice won't fall, and the curtain won't open.
