To complete this repair job correctly you may need : Phillip's screwdriver, hex drivers, long-nosed pliers, wrenches and heavy-duty wire cutters. • Depressurize the tank • Remove the manifold cover • Remove the pressure hose • Remove the pump assembly from the tank • Remove the manifold • Remove the manifold nipple • Transfer the safety valve • Install the new manifold kit • Secure the the pump assembly • Reinstall the hose • Reattach the manifold cover • Ensure everything is connected and test the compressor

The metal component allows the operator to drain the condensation out from the compressor tank. Located at the base of the tank, a wrench set is required for the replacement.
