My fridge stopped cooling yesterday. I hear the motor running but no ice is being made and the main space is only slightly cool. I live in an apartment and this fridge was a replacement by my landlord a couple of years ago. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Hello Carl, thank you for reaching out. Check the refrigerator fresh food section and freezer's gaskets. Make sure the doors close properly, no gaps should be there. Clean the condenser coils. As debris builds up on the condenser coils, the appliance will become less efficient and will have to cycle on more often to maintain a cool temperature. Check the evaporator fan, make sure it's working properly. If this does not help, replace the thermostat, part number PS2354423. We hope this helps.
What year was this fridge produced? Is it energy efficient?
Hello Carole, thank you for writing. Based on our research within the manual, this product was manufactured in 2012 and not indicating it is energy efficient. We hope this helps.

Not cold enough top and bottom
Hi Robert,
Thank you for your question. If the fresh food and freezer sections of your refrigerator are too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the temperature control, the evaporator fan motor, the defrost timer and the defrost thermostat. We have included a link that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please feel free to call customer service. We are open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
