Keep getting the bottom of the fridge under the crisper drawers full of water. Where is it coming from and why?
For model number GRT18C6AW1
Hello Bobbie, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the issue seems to be with the defrost timer, part number PS423801. If the defrost timer is not functioning properly, clogging might occur in the drain tube or the defrost drain. The drain tube deposits excess water into the drain pan. Once in the pan, the water typically evaporates. However, if the drain tube is clogged, water will eventually overflow and cause a leak. Checking the defrost timer for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!
