The unit starts and then stops after a couple of seconds. After two minutes it’ll start up and then stops. I’ve changed the bearings in the gear box but not on the ice tube. Any ideas?

Hi Reggie, thank you for getting in touch. The issue seems to be with the breaker bearing, part number PS10372106. This bearing is exposed directly to water, ice pressure, and calcium/scale buildup. If it is worn, rusted, or completely seized, it locks the top of the auger shaft. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
