Freezer works perfect for day then high temp alarm goes off and it stops freezing for day then freezes perfect again not freezing up anywhere have replaced evaporator fan not problem I think it’s defrost thermostat or control board which part is most likely the problem
Hi Tony, thank you for reaching out. These symptoms suggest an issue with the defrost system. Check the defrost thermostat, part number PS12289938. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Unit does not get cold. When first powering up, compressor comes on. 10 seconds later it kicks off. Then repeats. Measured good 120 Vac on main control board compressor pin. Visual inspection on the OLP and Starter relay with no visible burns. Measured for continuity on OLP and it is a good closed circuit with very little resistance. Unit is about 2 years old.
Hello Jim, thank you for getting in touch. The problem of a compressor kicking off after 10 seconds is likely a fault in the compressor's starter relay, part number PS12727425. There may no visible burning signs or damaged, but the issue could be internal in the start relay. We hope this helps.
