This is an authentic Oster replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with planetary stand mixers. The metal whisk is an attachment used to beat or stir ingredients in a light rapid movement. The whisk is available as an individual replacement attachment.

Slide the splash guard over the bowl so it is centered, and the chute is positioned correctly. The inner perimeter of the splash guard should fit against the edge of the mixing bowl. The splash guard is designed so that it fits freely on the bowl to make assembly easier. When using the splash guard, make sure the mixer head fits into the opening, and the pouring chute is to the right of the attachment hub when you are facing the mixer. While you pour the ingredients into the bowl, be sure to hold the lid in place with your hands.
