How to remove the ice maker on a FGSS2635TFB Frigidaire built in 06/20. I would like to remove the ice maker unit to check for damage. What is the right position for the ice level arm? I think it didn't work as the unit completely filled with ice and then began leaking. I removed the bin and got it cleaned out but the cube tray seems to not work.

In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. Used pliers to remove the residual broken stud that was still attached to the wall of the refrigerator, and then just pushed the new part in place. The longest time was spent in removing the food and crisper drawers.
