What the power keep going out on the dishwasher

The unit lost power. Checked continuity of door latch first and it was good. I figured it must be the circuit board, so I replaced it…still nothing. All of the wiring appears correct with no issues. What am I missing?

Hello Jon, thank you for the question. Start by checking incoming power directly at the junction box behind the lower toe kick. Wire nuts can loosen or burn internally and cut 120V before it ever reaches the board. If power is confirmed at the board, check the ribbon cable connecting the UI console touchpad to the main board. If this cable is pinched, corroded, or has a bent pin the board receives power but cannot communicate with the console, making the unit appear completely dead. Also, confirm the door strike is physically depressing the latch microswitch button fully when the door closes. If these steps do not help, check the switch assembly, part number 5304517587, and the UI assembly, part number 5304520008. Test them using a multimeter. We hope this is what you were looking for!
