Ice maker inlet tube keeps freezing up. Freezer is 4 years old. Never a problem till now. It also seems the freezer is running more than it used to. Freezer temp is set on 0 same as always been since new.

Hello Rachel, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Defrost Thermostat, PartSelect Number PS2350702. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. We hope this helps.

Hello Terry, Thank you for the question. This model does not come equipped with a water filter. We suggest removing the Ice Maker to see if it is damaged and leaking. If the Ice Maker is good, you may have a overfilling issue and a defective Water Valve. We hope this helps!

Freezer is leaking water out front. Drain in backc center, bottom, is not draining, often frozen.

Hello Gary, thank you for reaching out. According to our understanding, we would recommend unthaw the drain line. Boil a generous amount of water and add a cup full of salt to it. Make sure it is completely dissolved before using it. If the issue persists, then replace the temperature sensor, part number PS1527511, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!

Broken ice maker
Unplugged faulty ice maker, removed two screws holding it to the refrigerator and took it out. Reversed the operation with the new ice maker and after a few minutes presto, we have ice.
