Stopped cooling. Makes a click sound every few minutes but still stays hot. All coils are clean. Less than a year old.
Hello Stacy, thank you for getting in touch. Check the freezer compressor, part number PS16660787. If the compressor is faulty, the freezer will not cool properly. You can use a multimeter to test continuity of the compressor as well. If the compressor is working fine, you will need to replace the main control board, part number PS16555731, to fix the issue. Keeps going to high temp and will not cool. The freezer is on but will not cool.
Hello Valerie, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the evaporator fan motor has either shorted out or become physically jammed solid by frost build-up behind the paneling. As a result, even if the compressor is generating cold temperatures at the base, there is no air movement to push and distribute that chill into the main cabinet. You may need to replace it. The part number is PS12746805. We hope this helps!
