Hi, my fridge is not cooling. When it blows, it blows warm air. Any advice on how to repair?
For model number FFTR1835VW0
PartSelect logo
Hello Rivers, thank you for a very interesting question. The issue is most likely caused by the faulty evaporator fan motor. The evaporator fan motor draws air over the evaporator coils and circulates it throughout the freezer. If the evaporator fan motor is not working, the freezer will not cool. On most refrigerators, the fan motor will not run when the door is open. We recommend you replace the evaporator fan motor, part number PS16660872, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

New gasket
First I’ve done this many times no issues. This gasket which finally fit was the worst item and first from partselect. I’ve never had such a hard time getting the gasket to stay in the groove. Softened it and everything. Had to carefully use a plastic shim inch by inch. Bad bad bad!!
