Does this model have a cover for the light bulb?

Freezer is cold ,fridge is not cooling .Unit is only 4 1/2 years old ?

My refrigerator is not getting cold or running.Only the light works. Diagnostic shows I need a new timer. I looked up the part. Why does it have the 6 hours in the name and what does that mean? Thank you.

A "6-Hour Defrost Timer" in a refrigerator or freezer means that the unit's automatic defrost cycle will activate every six hours to melt accumulated frost on the evaporator coils, preventing ice buildup and maintaining cooling efficiency. A faulty defrost timer, part number PS16227343, could be the reason your refrigerator is not getting cold. If the timer is faulty, ice will build up and the refrigerator will not cool. Also, check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS16660872. If this is faulty, cold air will not circulate. We hope this information helps!
