after i reset the ice maker how long should it take before i see any ice?
For model number FFSS2615TE0
Hello Jerrel, thank you for reaching out. Normally, ice is produced at a rate of 8 cubes every 75 to 90 minutes and it takes 24 to 36 hours for the ice maker to make ice. A side-mounted ice maker produces 4 to 4.5 pounds of ice every 24 hours. We hope this information is useful.

Freezer does not keep food frozen. (H) appears periodically on Freezer display and resets to (1). How can I correct this. Items such as pizzas, biscuits, popsicles will not freeze solid. Ice maker not making ice.
For model number FFSS2615TE0
Hi Rebecca, thank you for reaching out. The "H" or "HI" code signifies that the freezer's temperature is too high. Make sure the freezer door is completely closed and the seal is intact. If it is fine, the issue could be with the thermistor assembly, part number PS8760187. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the

valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
