Icemaker freezes up and leaks water at the bottom of icemaker holder and it freezes into ice at the bottom also.
    For model number FFSS2614QS6A
Hello McKinley, thank you for your question. It sounds like there might be water getting into the unit after it is supposed to stop. We would recommend testing/replacing the water valve which supplies the water to the icemaker. That is PartSelect Number: PS7784018. I hope this helps.

The refrigerator does not stop running
    For model number FFSS2614QS6A
Hello James, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Defrost Thermostat. The best way to do this is to remove the thermostat from the refrigerator so you can control the temperature of the sensor. You can let the sensor warm up to room temperature. With the sensor warmed up to room temperature the sensor should read approximately 6.2K Ohms at 68°F. With the thermistor submerged is a glass full of ice water, the sensor should be very close to 32°F which should read approximately 16.3K Ohms. If the values that you are getting are far off from these readings, then the sensor is bad and should be replaced. We hope this helps!

      water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
