First. Your DIY info, documents, and troubleshooting debug links are the best of the best. Thank you! I have a troubling problem with my Frigidaire. It will randomly dispense ice and water. I come home from my work day to find ice or water all over my Oak kitchen flooring. I need to know your best guess at what electronics or switches I need to replace to stop this floor soaking and oak destruction menace. Thank you in advance for your suggestions, debug, and expertise.

How can I tell if I have rear mounted or side mounted ice maker. I've lived in apt. 6 mos. Furnished this refrigerator. Ice maker's never been working or "on" and I'm still unsure How do I turn it on? I do hear chattering noises sometime and that is indication it's 'off' ?
For model number FFSC2323LSDA
Hello Keith, Thank you for the question. You will need to look at the Ice Maker that is in the appliance to see if the mounting brackets are at the back side or on the side of the Icemaker. As long as the Ice Maker is connected and the Arm is in the correct position, it should be on and active. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Hi,
Attached below is my first question/answer. We did replace the PS3633331, switch membrane as suggested. After observations, we found that the fridge still arbitrarily spit out ice (switch set to ice) once every 2 to 4 weeks. A lot of ice was dispensed, and you could hear the ice auger free running. So, can you suggest the next part to replace? Again, thank you so much for your help and guidance!! .....Erik

Hi Erik,

water leaking out of refrigerator
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the

valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.

Support studs were broken
