I have a freezer that will work fine for around a month and then it will warm up and not freeze. During these issues the evaporator and fan get all iced up. What could the issue be? Could it be the defrost sensor? Once I let the ice thaw and plug it back in it seems to work fine for another month or so and then have the same issue. Thanks for your time!
Hi Tyler, thank you for getting in touch. Based on the description, we have concluded that the issue is with the defrost thermostat, part number PS12746820. We would recommend replacing the thermostat to fix the issue. Good luck with your repair!
The freezer light is inop and no change in freezer operation when door opens. Possible red switch?
Hi Darrell, thank you for your inquiry. The most likely causes are a burned-out light bulb, part number PS12731499, or a faulty door switch, part number PS16544346. Inspect the bulb first and make sure it is working. Since the freezer operation isn't changing when the door opens, the door switch is faulty. You will need to check the door switch, to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
green light flashing at the bottom at the front and beeps and when it does this the unit starts to thaw- any thots ? Flashes are just a steady pulse no sequence to it

Is there a reset switch on this freezer? The door was left open and the freezer started defrosting. It doesn't seem to get below 6°C since.
Hi Sonia, thank you for the question. Based on our research, your model does not come with a reset switch. If the freezer door was left open for several hours or longer, It will take it many hours to cool back down. It is important to keep the freezer controls just where they were before. Avoid opening the door constantly while the freezer is working and make sure the door is sealed properly, as it might prevent the freezer from cooling. If the issue still persists, we would recommend checking the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12746805. If this part is faulty, you may need to replace it. We hope that helps!
Do you sell the thermostat (potentiometer for this upright freezer as I can find it anywhere? This freezer has been an absolute nightmare since I bought it with freezing up and now it won’t run at all normally but it does cycle through all the test functions using a magnet on the reed switch so I believe it’s the thermostat.
Hi Paul, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the issue is with the temperature control wire harness, part number PS12746821. The temperature control is the potentiometer that helps regulate the temperature inside the freezer. We would recommend replacing the temperature control to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

Bought a new upright freezer. Love it but I made sure to get a model that has options to adjust the shelves. Then I bought a new shelf with clips. I felt there was too much room between the shelves as it came from the store. That would just result in stacking packages and too easy to lose what wa

Very Easy
Less than 15 mins
I just moved the middle shelves up and down to create enough space for another shelf. Worked out beautifully
so not to disrupt items on the shelves we purchased an extra shelf so we could flash freeze items on a baking sheet after they are frozen then placed in a seal meal bags the items won't stick together the extra shelf allows you about 3 inches of space for a backing sheet
