This is an authentic OEM replacement kit for use with lawn and garden equipment. Each kit includes the carburetor, cylinder, crankcase, and muffler gaskets. The carburetor gasket seals the area between the carburetor and engine block to prevent the entry of contaminants into the carburetor. The crankcase gasket prevents oil from leaking out of the crankcase. The cylinder and muffler gaskets prevent the combustion and exhaust gases from escaping. If you are experiencing common problems such as leaking, loss of compression, and poor engine performance this indicates that your gaskets may be worn down or damaged and need replacement. Carefully remove the old gaskets and thoroughly clean the mating surfaces where the new gaskets will be installed to ensure a good seal. Install the new gaskets and ensure that they fit properly.

The assembly is comprised mostly of plastic and rubber, and most of our customers rated the repair as easy. You can check your model number or owners manual to determine if this is the right assembly for your model. You will need a wrench, screwdriver, and pliers for this repair. It is attached to the engine crankshaft by a key known as a shear pin or flywheel key. This assembly is a critical component in the starting and running of your power equipment. Over time, the magnets on the flywheel will wear down, and the flywheel may chip and crack. A faulty flywheel will result in a loss of power, excessive shaking during use, and difficulty starting the equipment. Remove the flywheel using a flywheel puller. Position the new flywheel on the crankshaft and secure it with the retaining nut and flywheel key. This flywheel is sold as an individual replacement part.
