My stand alone freezer no longer freezes. It’s a little cold when I touch the walls. The green light next to the thermostat on the exterior is blinking. Do you recommend I purchase the thermostat or another part? Thanks so much

Hello Mariana, thank you for your inquiry. The green light indicates that the freezer has not met the set temperature. The issue is most probably with the thermostat, part number PS2323338. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. It regulates the temperature in the freezer. We hope this solves your problem!
I replaced the thermostat, all but the capillary pipe. It was stuck in the tube in which it fits. I had to let it sit unplugged until the ice in the cap tube melted, and I was able to lightly jerk on the cap pipe until it came loose and slipped out. Put in the new one and sealed the end of the tube with putty.
