My freezer is running but not freezing and the green light is off. Do you know what might be wrong with it?

Green light indicator out
Removed cover with screwdriver used pliers unhook wires green light indicator and replaced with new one put cover back.

Compressor not coming on
Had to e-mail GE for electrical schematic. Checked voltages to compressor. Jumpered compressor to see if it would even come on. Found bad run capacitor. Fixed.
