washer tub shakes violently during spin cycle.
turn washer on it's side. dampers are visible from underneath. use needle nose pliers to "pinch" end of retaining pin and pull pin out. it will take some force to remove. i would recommend replacing all 3 as i had one that had a mounting tab broken off. i then realized the other dampers were bad. there should be resistance in the up and d

While replacing the tub support (spider) I chose to replace the gasket.
The spider repair and the tub seal replacement are fairly complicated, and time-consuming, but manageable with patience. I viewed the youtube video that showed the process, which gave me confidence. It entails disassembling the machine and removing quite a few major pieces. Take care with the numerous screws and bolts, and be patient and
