This hex socket head bolt is an authentic OEM Makita replacement part. It secures the protector cover on the trimmer head. If the bolt gets lost or damaged, it will need to be replaced or you run the risk of this cover coming out of place. It measures approximately 1-1/2-Inches long. There are two of the hex socket head bolts on the trimmer cover, but this part is sold separately.
