How do you remove the ice maker from the freezer?

Hello Edward, Thank you for the question. Once you remove the door covering the ice maker you need to slide out the ice bin below the ice maker. Next you will see the screws below and above the ice maker holding it onto the wall of the freezer. Once the screws are removed you can take the ice maker off the interior wall. At the back of the ice maker you will see the wire harness where the ice maker plugs in. Unplug the ice maker and remove from the appliance. As per the manufacturer: the bracket will have to be removed from your old ice maker and reattached to your new ice maker. The cover is not included. Then reverse the steps to reinstall. My refrigerator suddenly stopped while I was asking a friend a question he said my ice maker was froze and I problem would need a new thermostat and all of a sudden it came back on and still running

The light in the back of refrigerator is not on.

Icemaker working, but ice frozen and not coming out of ice dispenser. Cleared out all the frozen ice in the plastic container. When pressing the ice dispenser the motor works intermittently. Bad motor? What do I need to replace? Thank you

The intermittent motor suggests a problem with the ice dispenser's motor, or the frozen ice is likely caused by a clogged chute or a frozen water line/ice maker fill tube. To fix this, first clear the chute, thaw any frozen ice buildup, and check the temperature settings. If the issue continues, a faulty auger motor, part number PS11723175, may be causing the issue, and will need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
