Blade – Part Number: 534205300
No Longer Available
Blade
Part #534205300
This edger blade is found at the bottom of your edger and helps to create clean and defined edges in your lawn. To check if the blade is broken, look for visible damage or signs of wear, such as dullness, cracks, or chips. A broken blade will produce unsatisfactory or uneven cuts through the soil and grass. It can also put strain on the edger motor. To replace your edger blade, remove any retaining fasteners that are securing the blade to its housing before detaching it from your edger. If you intend to sharpen your blade, follow your user manual for instructions. Before purchasing this OEM replacement part, keep in mind that it is sold individually.

The blade guide attaches to the deck frame. This part is made of metal and is available individually. This is an original Paramount and Weed Eater part for use in edgers. A screwdriver, a set of pliers, and a wrench set may all be necessary during the installation of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced.
Lock Strap – Part Number: 534135700

Lock Strap
Part #534135700
This strap lock is a genuine OEM replacement part designed for use in edgers. It is a flat metal tab that fits between the blade and lock washer and it is used to secure these components together and prevent them from shifting during operation. Over time, the strap lock can wear down, crack, or corrode leading to blade misalignment, instability, excessive noise, and reduced equipment performance. Remove the old strap by loosening the fasteners that hold it in place. Take the new lock strap and align it with the attachment points on the edger. Reinstall the fasteners and ensure that the equipment is now stable.

Removed the old blade. Installed the new blade. Since this was the original blade we used WD 40 to loosen the old nut.
