Our dryer is not heating up or drying the clothes at all cannot find exact part on this website for the model number we provided above please contact back with more information on how to fix this problem. Thank you.
For model number DVE45R6100WA3
Hello Jhonell, thank you for contacting us. A clogged lint filter will cause a loss of air flow, which can lead to long drying times and may cause the dryer to overheat, tripping the thermal fuse. Check the dryer thermal fuse, part number PS4205213, a faulty thermal fuse can cut off power when the dryer overheats. Check the dryer heating element, part number PS4205218. A faulty or damaged heating element will not work properly and will not heat the air efficiently. You can check the heating element for damage or burning, or you can do a continuity test using a multimeter. We hope this information helps!

In drying running mode, when we turn the dryer off it keeps on running until we open the door. As soon as we close the door it starts running again. I hit the relay a couple of timescon the PCB and the problem was fixed but after running the dryer a few more times the issue reoccurred. Do we need a new PCB?

Dryer wasn’t heating
Well it went really well until the dryer was put back together as it still didn’t heat. The dryer was taken apart again. This time the thermistors &fuse was tested. Alas, the new fuse was faulty. After putting the car lid fuse back on n, the dryer worked again

Timed dryer cycle was stuck on 1 minute, dryer wouldn't stop running unless door was opened.
Issue was the heating element coil, which had broken in places and shorted itself out. I removed the top and front panels to expose the heating element's housing. Then unplugged, removed and disassembled the housing to expose the heating element (there are many videos online that explain the process). Once the heating element was replaced

, the problem disappeared. Now the clothes are drying much faster than before. It is definitely worth getting the Samsung OEM part. Many reviews on generic equivalents were negative, despite how attractive the low price may look at first. PartSelect has never failed to impress with quick shipping and quality products.
