My dryer recently stopped working. There is no power to it. I replaced the entire dryer control board but it still does not turn on. I made sure the power switch was on in the electrical board and i flipped it off and back on. What can my dryer have that is making it not work?

Hi James, thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the dryer door is properly closed and there is no obstruction. If everything is okay, the issue is most likely a thermal fuse, part number PS4205212, that will blow and stop the dryer from working if the heating element overheats. We hope that helps!
Hi Linda, thank you for reaching out. To turn off the dryer’s notification beeps and melodies, press and hold Dry Level for 3 seconds. To unmute the dryer, press and hold Dry Level again for 3 seconds. We hope this helps.

Well it went really well until the dryer was put back together as it still didn’t heat. The dryer was taken apart again. This time the thermistors &fuse was tested. Alas, the new fuse was faulty. After putting the car lid fuse back on n, the dryer worked again
Watched a video on utube, how to repair my 16 month old steam dryer. The hardest part was laying on my belly holding the spring loaded tensioner and slipping the belt on around the blower housing. Only cost me $23. Winning!
