Hitting the button doesn’t open the door. We use a mini suction cup to open it while pushing the button

Hi Steve, thank you for reaching out. For the stated issue, the most likely cause is a faulty door open lever assembly. Over time, the plastic lever can crack or wear down, so pressing the release button no longer pushes the door latch far enough to release the door. Since the door opens with a suction cup while the button is pressed, the latch mechanism is likely not being actuated fully. You may need to replace the lever assembly, part number PS17645012. Just take out the appliance from built in frame, if any, remove the glass turn table, disassemble the metal cover (no-tamper screws were a problem), flip it over, unscrew one screw from the motor, unplug the wires (keep track of the connections), install the new motor and wires, reaassemble with regular screws, and reinstall. No big deal.
