Chuck stuck closed around bit and will not open. Seems to be stripped. How do I remove chuck and replace? And what do I replace with?

What is the standard thread type and dimensions on this transmission assembly?
For model number DCD771
Hello Toby, diameter is approximately 2-1/4". However, we do not find the thread type. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer of the unit directly. Good luck with your repair.
