how do I remove the filter basket?

Hello Jenny, thank you for reaching out. To remove the filter basket from your coffeemaker, follow these steps: 1. Ensure the coffeemaker is turned off and unplugged from the electrical outlet. 2. Lift up the reservoir cover of the coffeemaker. 3. Remove and discard the paper filter and any ground coffee present. 4. Gently lift the filter basket out of its holder. We hope this helps!
