The head pressure not bleeding off. Is the check valve?
For model number CPL6025
Hi James, thank you for reaching out. Yes, a faulty check valve might be causing this issue; as it allows tank air to leak back into the discharge line and head. This constant back pressure prevents the unloader valve from fully bleeding the head, often causing the motor to hum or struggle to restart against the trapped pressure. Replacing it might fix the issue. The part number is PS18990719. Good luck with this repair!
