The touch button overlay seems to has warped due to the element heat?? As new it was perfectly smooth and flat and now it has ripples in it. At the same time this happened half of the touch buttons do not work. I am wondering if this is a electrical board issue or somehow I have ruined the overlay??
Hello Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. There could be multiple issues as to why this happened, the wiring, the control board, excessive heat, but if the key pad is not working then it could be a keypad issue or a control board issue. Check the control board for any visible damage or loose connections and if you do not see any, then we would recommend replacing the timer/overlay. Good luck with your repair.
