Refrigerator Door Shelf Retainer/Bin

This refrigerator door shelf attaches to the inside of the refrigerator door, typically holds jars and bottles, and is generally the middle shelf for your food door. The shelf is white, plastic, has open square latches, and approximately 24 1/4 inches wide x 3 3/4 inches deep. You should replace your door shelf if it is visibly damaged, or is stopping your door from opening or closing. This OEM part is sourced directly from the manufacturer, fastens to the door with little effort, and is sold individually.

Refrigerator Door Shelf Bin

This part is a door shelf bin made to hold food items on the door of the refrigerator. This is a genuine OEM part that is soured directly from the manufacturer. It is made of plastic and is white in colour. No tools are required for this repair, simply remove all items from shelf, lift existing shelf straight up, and snap new one into place onto the door tabs. It is recommended to inspect the door tabs to be sure they are not damaged before ordering part. Sold individually, check other refrigerator door shelf bins in case others are damaged or warped.

Defrost Thermostat

This defrost thermostat is also known as a refrigerator defrost bi-metal thermostat kit. The function of the defrost bi-metal thermostat is to prevent overheating during the defrost cycle in your refrigerator by protecting the evaporator. The most common sign that there is a problem with your refrigerator defrost thermostat kit is if your freezer is cold but your refrigerator is warm. If your evaporator coils are icy then your defrost bi-metal thermostat kit could be defective. To do this installation the tools you will need include a 1/4 inch nut driver, a pair of wire strippers and crimpers, and a heat gun.

Run Capacitor

The run capacitor helps the compressor kick on and off while maintaining a constant temperature in your fridge and freezer. You may need to replace your run capacitor if your refrigerator or freezer section will not start, if they are too warm, or if your refrigerator has become too noisy. Replacing the run capacitor is a relatively easy project. For this repair you will only need a 1/4 inch nut driver and needle nose pliers.
