Compressor does not shut off when max pressure is achieved. Pressure relief valve opens and lowers pressure, but unit continues to run.
Hello Wayne, Thank you for the question. This is caused by a malfunctioning pressure switch. The pressure switch controls when to turn on the compressor and when to shut it down to keep the tank full of air. I hope this helps and good luck with your repair.
