Spin Bearing

The spin bearing, used for your washer, is located at the bottom of the outer tub near the transmission. The spin bearing carries the transmission shaft in the drive system, therefore ensuring the shaft is spun properly during its spin cycle. If your spin cycle makes loud or odd noises, replacing the bearing could be a solution to your problem. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions. As a safety precaution make sure to unplug appliance from the power source.

This v-style belt or drive belt is designed for use in your washing machine. This part connects the drive motor to the drive system in the washer, which spins the basket. Removing the piece above the tub gasket was very difficult. A lot of hammer and chisel work.
15 year old machine. A lot of calcium build up around the shaft. I used a screw driver as a chisel and a hammer. Carefully removed the metal around the shaft to get to the tub seal.

pull up on top ,take two screws loose on front panel(pull off) vaccum old debri out,pull tension pulley back pull old belt off,holding tension pulley put new belt on .put front panel back on and snap top back down to secure.
