The heating element goes next to the side and the fan. This is a genuine DeLonghi part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in toaster ovens. It is made out of metal and plastic and is sold individually. When replacing this item a screwdriver and a set of pliers may be needed. Over time this part may break and will need to be replaced.
