My freezer is defrosting but plugged in. The compressor light is well lit up. The power is dim. Also the appliance tics or clicks

Hello Jeffrey, thank you for your question. We would recommend testing/replacing the thermostat, Part #: PS11737826 and if that is not the issue the problem is most likely a faulty compressor. I hope this helps.

Stopped freezing
Power was good but the compressor did not turn on. Replaced control unit with thermostat. 1/2 hour to replace. Compressor clicks, hums, then clicks again. Compressor is warm. Temperature has not changed in 24 hours. Same as room temperature.
