If this does not sort out the problem the issue is probably because of the float, part number, PS12172020. It detects the level of water in the reservoir tank and will automatically stop the Dehumidifier when the tank becomes full. Hi John, thank you for reaching out. Remove the hose, insert the bucket, and let the unit run for 2 to 3 hours. If the bucket collects water, your compressor and cooling loops are completely fine, meaning the issue is purely a drainage alignment or height problem with your hose setup. Hose drainage relies entirely on gravity. If the hose has a slight upward kink, a loop, or is resting on a high lip at the floor drain, water will back up into the machine.
